What you should do before applying for AdSense
Making money from your blog is just a great feeling and a great sense of achievement if you wish, as 99.99% of bloggers blog because they want to monetize their blog. Before then there are few things you must do so that google can approve your Adsense account very quickly.
Most people say your site or blog must be at least 6 months old before google can approve your blog for AdSense.
But I also believe that a blog of 2 months old can be served AD's depending on the content and quality of your blog/site.
So in this article I will be showing you what you should do before applying for AdSense.
1. ORIGINALITY;
As the name implies, means that your article must be from you.
Here Google don't want you to copy and paste other people's contents. If you must use other people's content, be sure to give them credit or edit at least 60%.

2. CONTENT;
After launching a blog, I advice you start posting great contents.
You can write 3 -4 articles same day you launched the blog site. One of the requirements of Google is clean and original contents because they will check first before approving your account and serving your blog ads. At least 500 words per article should do. Have said this before that writing great content shouldn't be a big deal as you can write just about any topic that you are comfortable with as far as it has value to your readers. Make sure your blog contents match with your blog title, or you can also explain more about your blog in the description.
3. NO CONTENT;
Just as it sounds Google will not serve ads to a blog or site with no contents. E.g google will not serve ads to a blank page.

4. OWNING THE SITE;
This is one of the things that can help in fast AdSense approval as Google will like to know if you are really the owner of the blog site.
So my take here is that you get a custom domain.
👉dont panic i will show you how to get a custom domain in my next post.
5. QUALITY OF CONTENT;
Google will not serve ads to a blog that promote violence, hate or abuse. By this I don't mean you can't blog about incidence and violence around the world but your blog shouldn't be a tool for hate, violence and abuse.

6. ADULT CONTENT;
While setting up your blog if you are using blogger, Google gives you the opportunity to let them know if you will be posting or accepting adult contents or not. This is part of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
7. TRAFFIC SOURCES;
Google ads may not be placed on pages receiving traffic from certain sources. For example, publishers may not participate in paid-to-click programs, send unwanted emails or display ads as the result of the action of any software application. Also, publishers using online advertising must ensure that their pages comply with Google's policy.

8. SITE BEHAVIOR;
Sites showing Google ads should be easy for users to navigate. Sites may not change user preferences, redirect users to unwanted websites, initiate downloads, include malware or contain pop-ups or pop-unders that interfere with site navigation.
